For this particular task I was paired up with Ryan Nolan we were to create voice overs for a scene of our choice.
We chose a scene from the movie Transformers.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUyXE4D5Ouc
We chose this scene because it is short and seemed simple enough to do also because I have a broad outline of what this film is about.
The point of view of the narration is taken from the yellow car known as bumblebee who is one of the autobots. He is describing what he is doing and why he is doing it. Ryan will be doing the narration and I wrote the script.
Phase two was actually putting the voice over and the clip together and it came out like this.
We did the entire voice over in one take, via iMovie, there was no need for any editing.
After seeing the actual footage from the task in class and receiving some constructive criticism, I can say that I am pleased with the result however the space between some of the voice over lines was quite long there was more that we could have added but overall, this is a standard piece of work.
Good personal response to workshop task. In the next workshop we will be adding more detailed use of terminology and analysis of mood and meaning.
